Preferences
Preferences can be used to customize the Pattern Design program to company or personal specifications. The Preferences dialog box has tabs to customize the General settings, the PDS colors, the Display, Fonts, Graphics, Paths, Plotting, MicroMark data conversion, and Silhouette drafting.
How to Customize Preferences/Options:
1. From the Edit tab, select the Customize dropdown. Then choose Preferences in the Workspace panel.
2. The Preferences/Options dialog box displays. Select the appropriate tab: General, Display, Draft, Color, Plot, Style, Paths, Fonts, or Graphics.
3. Click on the desired field(s) and enter the necessary information.
4. Select from the following options:
• OK – saves the changes to the Preferences for this work session only and closes the dialog box.
• Cancel – closes the Preferences dialog box without saving any changes.
• Save – makes the changes to the Preferences permanent.
• Apply – redisplays the screen with new settings.
• Reset to Default – changes the settings back to the default settings.
