Preferences: Paths

The Paths tab will set preferences for where Pattern Design finds and saves pieces, models, styles, and imports files. Browse buttons are available for the MicroMark and Import Paths.

AccuMark Storage Area

• Device – specifies the drive on the computer or File Server where the system finds and stores AccuMark data.

• Storage Area – identifies the name of the default storage area where Pattern Design will find and store AccuMark data.

Notch Table - identifies the notch table to use

Rule Table - specifies the Rule Table to reference

MicroMark Paths

• General – specifies the drive on the computer or network drive where the system finds and stores MicroMark data. This should be set to X:\ADS, where X is the drive letter where MicroMark data is stored.

• Style – specifies the path and name of the directory where Pattern Design can find and store MicroMark styles. This should be set to X:\ADS\STYLDIR, where X is the drive letter where MicroMark styles are stored.

• Grade – specifies the path and name of the directory where grade rule tables for MicroMark data are stored. This should be set to X:\ADS\GDRLDIR, where X is the drive letter where MicroMark rule tables are stored.

• Read Rule Table from Style Path – If checked, the system will look for the rule table on the same device the style is retrieved from.

Model Notes Path

Each model can have a file associated to keep notes or revision history with the style. Once this is set, choose File / Model Notes to view the file associated with the style. Make sure to save the file after any changes are made.

• Notes - Notes sets the file location.
• Extension- Defines the type of file to find or create.

Import File Path

• Path – specifies the path and name of the directory where graphic files are found using File/Import.

Fabric and Trim Images Path

Define the location fabric fill and trim images are located.

Points of Measurement Path

Set the location for the Points of Measurement files.
