Preferences: Color Tab
To make it easier to identify pieces in the workspace, colors of pieces and nested sizes can be changed. Colors for text, prompts, background, and grid in the work area can also be adjusted.
To Change Colors:
1. From the Edit Tab, select Preferences/Options.
2. Select the Color tab.
3. Left click on the color swatch next to the item to change.
4. Select a new color by selecting a color swatch from the Predefined Colors or creating a new color by dragging the Red, Green and Blue levels. A preview of the color is shown in the Current Color box. When finished, click OK.
5. Click Apply to show the changed color on the screen.
Piece Colors:

• Highlighted – indicates the color of the current piece (perimeter and internal lines). When multiple pieces are in the work area, the piece that the cursor is currently on displays in this color.
• Near – indicates the color an object will be when the cursor is close enough to select it.
• Modified – indicates the color of a piece (perimeter and internal lines) that has been edited. The piece will return to the Original color after it is saved.

Fabric Fill:
• Fabric Name – indicates the color to be used in the piece icon menu and for color fill on pieces in a model. Each fabric code can have a different color. If no fabric code is specified or pieces have been opened, the color defined for None will be used. Multiple will be used on any piece with more than one fabric code. Fabric names from the active models will be available for selection in the drop down menu.

Fill Type: Radio button selection of a Color Picker to define a color fill or Texture to use the fabric texture defined in the Model Editor.
Opacity- Images within pieces can be made transparent to easily view piece perimeters that are overlapped within the work area. This can be helpful in checking placement and making pattern adjustments. The lower the opacity value, the more translucent the piece fill will become.

• Intermediate – specifies the color of the intermediate sizes when a grade nest is displayed.
