Create/Edit Model
Edit Model
Used to change information in an existing model. The user can add or remove pieces, as well as change fabric and piece count information. For more information about the model file, see the Model section of this training guide.
1. From the File menu, select Create/Edit Model and then Edit Model.
2. From the dialog box that displays, select the name of the model to edit. Click Open.
3. The Model Editor will display. Make any necessary changes.
4. When finished, select Save from the File menu.
5. To close the window, select Exit from the File menu or click the X in the upper right corner.
Add Pieces
Use this function to add pieces to an existing model or create a new model. Pieces being added to the model must have unique names.
1. From the File menu, select Create/Edit Model and then Add Pieces.
2. From the dialog box that displays, select the model name or type in the name of the new model. Click OK.
3. Select the pieces in the work area to add to the model. When finished, select OK.
4. A dialog box will display showing the new list of piece names for the model. Click OK.
Remove Pieces
Use this function to remove pieces from an existing model.
1. From the File menu, select Create/Edit Model and then Delete Pieces.
2. In the dialog box that displays, select the pieces to remove. Use the CTRL key to select more than one piece. When finished, select OK.
3. The dialog box will remain open so more pieces can be selected. Click OK to finish the command.
Prefix Names
With this function turned on, the model name will be added to the beginning of any new piece added into the model. The function will remain ON until it is selected again. A check mark will be placed next to the command in the menu to show that it is ON.
