Move Line

Use to move a line to a new location. The line will be able to move in any direction. This is useful when moving grain or annotation lines.

1. From the Line Actions group on the Modify tab, Move Line or press the CTRL + F2 keys on the keyboard.

2. Select from the following User Input options:

• Select Reference Location – use to control the line movement at a selected point.

• Move Multi Line in Reverse – when checked, two selected lines will move in opposite directions.

3. Select line(s) to offset. When finished, select OK.

4. If the Select Reference Location option is checked, select a point to guide the line movement.

5. Position the line in either cursor or value mode:

• Cursor Mode – left click to place the line.

• Value Mode – click both buttons and release. Enter the distance from the original line in the Dist or X and Y fields
