Regenerate Marker
This feature is useful if you make a change to a marker component such as a piece and then want to remake a marker that contains that piece. The system will order process the marker and then use Copy Marker in an attempt to re–place all pieces into the marker and the original marker is overwritten. The tables and editors used to create the marker are processed again to apply changes such as buffering or alterations. Depending on the significance of the change, the pieces may not fit back into their original locations without manual manipulation or re nesting using AccuNest or AutoMark.
1. In the Contents section of the Explorer, select the markers you want to regenerate.
-
Choose Regenerate Marker.
The Regenerate Marker dialog box displays indicating the name of the marker that is about to be Order Processed. It also indicates that after the marker is created, Copy Marker will be used in an attempt to re–place all pieces into the marker. The original marker will be overwritten.
4. Choose Yes to regenerate the current marker or choose Yes to All to regenerate all selected markers without being prompted before each one.
Once finished, the system indicates the number of markers that were successfully processed and the number of errors that occurred. A marker may report a status of Needs Approval or Partial if the pieces were not replaced fully in the Regenerated Marker.
5. Click OK.
